Sunrise over McCauley

Summer may be over, but there are still plenty of activities to keep you busy until Snowmobile season. On Saturday, View is hosting their "Running Colors" 5K race. Walk or run this 3.1 mile course while getting blasted with colorful powder. Following the race, there will be  color throwing party plus a public picnic.

This weekend the Adirondack Scenic Railroad will also be hosting their annual Pumpkin Train. Children dress in their favorite costumes and ride the train up to Carter Station, stopping at Wally's Pumpkin Patch, where each child will be allowed to choose one pumpkin to bring home.
